<p>Implement Photoshop design comps into standards-compliant, cross-browser-friendly HTML, CSS, and Javascript.</p>
<p>Author basic JavaScript libraries and jQuery plugins</p>
<p>Build client side applications using JavaScript, AJAX, and JSON.</p>
<p>Browser test front end implementations and troubleshoot/debug existing front end code.</p>
<p>Assess projects and draft technical requirements documents.</p>
<p>Accurately estimate duration and effort required to complete development tasks.</p>
<p>Demonstrate a proactive approach in helping to mitigate risks, improve quality in an efficient manner and resolve issues as they occur.</p>
<p>Look for efficient coding methodologies and opportunities to enhance productivity in the team.</p>
<p>Proactively take measures to stabilize, automate and make efficient the application environment.</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements:</strong></p>
<p>Excellent oral and written communication skills</p>
<p>Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript</p>
<p>Knowledge of emerging web standards and technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 5, including familiarity with associated spec documents</p>
<p>Familiarity with version control (preferably SVN or Git)</p>
<p>Strong knowledge of jQuery</p>
<p>Familiarity with libraries/frameworks such as Modernizr, Backbone, Bootstrap, Raphael, and Node.js</p>
<p>Knowledge of common browser compatibility issues and experience testing and debugging them</p>
<p>Knowledge of front end web performance best practices</p>
<p>Experience implementing mobile designs and testing UIs on various mobile devices</p>
<p>Experience working with CMS templates</p>
<p>Knowledge of progressive enhancement and accessibility best practices</p>
<p>Knowledge and experience working in an agile development environment.</p>
<p>Good analytical skills with a proven track record of successful web application development.</p>
<p>Ability to manage own time in a productive manner with limited supervision.</p>
<p>Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams including designers, developers, infrastructure teams, project managers and internal customers.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Seeking talented, customer focused <strong>Operations Manager</strong> with conference and tradeshow experience. Manager will be responsible for assisting the Division Director with the overall logistical and budgetary management of selected events with an emphasis on event execution. The Manager’s duties will include determining and executing all event requirements; being the main liaison between the event staff and the pertinent outside vendors during the three stages of a show: pre-show, show days and post show; assisting the Director in managing budget for increased revenue and effective expense control; and creating an environment of continual improvement and inspired employee morale.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong><br />
Work closely with the Division Director to discuss overall group goals and plans</p>
<p>Pre-planning for selected events, this includes, but is not limited to on-site execution including staffing, development of run of show, oversight of on-site registration deliverables, floor management, room sets, signage placement, sponsor fulfillment, vendor management, exhibitor manual, registration area requirements, monitoring of equipment orders and event management orders</p>
<p>Budget forecasts and analysis for assigned events</p>
<p>Liability analysis and contingency planning</p>
<p>Primary contact for facility and vendor contacts. Obtain cost estimates from the appropriate vendors</p>
<p>Attend conference and manage on-site logistics and day to day work scope; working closely with the Marketing and Program managers</p>
<p>Regular pre-event meetings with conference team to discuss on-site requirements</p>
<p>All post-event bill reconciliation and budget reporting</p>
<p>All negotiations with related vendors (AV, security, signage and services)</p>
<p>Determine and manage order process and budget management of catering functions to include staff meals and special event functions. Responsible for contacts, menu selections, and supervision of food and beverage planning</p>
<p>Conference &#8211; Implement program as provided by program manager.</p>
<p>Provide operational support to other events as outlined by Division Director.</p>
<p>Develop floor plan, assign locations in the facility (meeting rooms, reg area, exhibitor service desks), design meeting room layouts, audit floor plan and provide decorator with revisions for updates and consolidations</p>
<p>Review the plan of operations regarding overall event.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<p>Four year college degree, 5-7 years event experience, in conference and tradeshow events.</p>
<p>Ability to travel 25-30% of time, includes international travel.</p>
<p>Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.</p>
<p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p>
<p>Ability to work effectively and manage up with high level executives.</p>
<p>Detail-oriented multi-tasker with excellent organizational skills.</p>
<p>Work in a team environment, pro-active, relationship building customer service focused, take charge problem solver with outgoing personality.</p>
<p>Ability to effectively create and manage expense budgets for the venue and related sales support costs for each meeting</p>
