Description
Summit Business Media, a business to business information service provider is seeking an attorney who is well versed in mergers and acquisitions to help them grow to the next level. As a fast track publisher, backed by private equity, with over 500 employees and offices in 14 major cities, business is booming. The successful candidate will be based in the largest office just south of Cincinnati in Erlanger, Ky. We also have offices in Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C., Boston, Austin, and San Francisco to name a few.
In addition to mergers and acquisitions, you will be responsible for reviewing contracts, handling trademark issues, overseeing general corporate and labor matters and participating in financial decisions. Support of all business initiatives will require working closely with and providing input to the Executive Committee.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree
- Member of Kentucky bar
- Five or more years of general corporate legal work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Precise drafting and accurate legal research
- Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
- Creative, responsive and motivated to provide excellent legal service.
