Bob is currently a director of Hearthside Food Solutions, Knape and Vogt, Ryt-way Industries, Santa Maria Foods and Waterbury. Prior to joining Wind Point, Bob was a general partner at Robertson, Colman & Stephens (“RCS”), the predecessor firm to Robertson, Stephens & Company. At RCS, Bob was responsible for the development of the firm’s venture capital activities, which totaled approximately $150 million under management in four funds. Prior to joining RCS, Bob was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. Bob is a BSME graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He also served for five years as an engineering officer and line officer in the nuclear submarine force of the U.S. Navy prior to attending Harvard.
Jim TenBroekManaging Director, Wind Point PartnersJim TenBroek joined Wind Point in 1997 as a managing director. Jim is currently a director of Active Interest Media, Summit Business Media and U.S. Security. Prior to joining Wind Point, Jim was an investment professional with GTCR. Prior to GTCR, Jim was an engineering manager with Hewlett Packard’s Medical Products Group, and earlier a staff scientist at C.S. Draper Laboratories. Jim holds a BA in engineering sciences from Dartmouth College, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, a Masters in electrical engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Alex WashingtonManaging Director, Wind Point PartnersAlex Washington joined Wind Point in 2002 and was promoted to managing director in 2007. Alex is currently a director of Summit Business Media and Vertellus Specialties. Prior to joining Wind Point, Alex was a senior associate at Whitney & Co. Previously, he was a business analyst at McKinsey & Co. Alex holds a BA in finance from Morehouse College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Alex is also a member of the Class VI of Kauffman Fellows.
Efrem Zimbalist III Chairman & CEO, Active Interest MediaEfrem Zimbalist III is Chairman and CEO of Active Interest Media (AIM), a media company formed in 2003 to serve niche enthusiast markets. Previously, Mr. Zimbalist was Chief Financial Officer of Times Mirror. Prior to joining Times Mirror, Mr. Zimbalist served as chairman and chief executive officer of Correia Art Glass, Inc., a family-owned business. Mr. Zimbalist served for two years as an officer in the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Corp, including one year in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He received a BA degree in economics from Harvard College and a Master's Degree in Business Administration with honors from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. Mr. Zimbalist serves or has served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Robert Louis Stevenson School, Chairman of the Board of Overseers of the Curtis Institute of Music, as a member of the Carnegie Hall Corporate Fund Board and the Leadership Board of Lincoln, the House Ear Institute, the Colorado Festival of World Theatre, and the Summit Business Media.
Anthony C. ReillyManaging Director, Penniman Creek CapitalMr. Reilly was the Vice President of Business Development for Summit Business Media until the Fall of 2008 and is now the Managing Director of Penniman Creek Capital, a private investment vehicle based in New York City. Mr. Reilly has over 18 years experience in all operational aspects of the publishing and media business. From 1990-1994 he was an editor and writer for Premiere Magazine where he wrote a sports video column and published interviews with Billy Crystal and Ashley Judd. In 1996, he founded ARC Publishing, a media company that published magazines, websites, directories and newsletters focusing on the casino and gaming industry.The flagship publication was called Chance and he was Publisher and Editorial Director for six years. Mr. Reilly holds a BA from the University of Vermont (where he currently sits on the Board of Advisors and was a past chairman of the New York Regional Board) and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He lives in Tribeca with his wife, Danielle, and two children.
Andrew L. Goodenough President and CEO Andy Goodenough was named president of Summit in November, 2007, and CEO in July, 2008. In 2002, he created the business plan for a new financial services information company, secured equity funding from Spire Capital in January 2003 and in October of that year, launched Highline Media and acquired The National Underwriter Company, now the flagship of Summit’s operations. Mr. Goodenough previously served as the President of Thomson Media's Banking Publishing/Conferences Group. The group published/hosted more than 80 products and events including American Banker, U.S. Banker, Bank Technology News, National Mortgage News, Credit Union Journal and many others. Prior to serving at Thomson, Mr. Goodenough was President of USB Corporation and Publisher of U.S. Banker, which was sold to Thomson in 1993. Mr. Goodenough is a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont and holds an MBA degree in finance and marketing from New York University.

He was also President of Reed Exhibitions, North America for three years. Prior to Reed Elsevier, Jim was a senior executive at RCA Corporation for 16 years holding significant operating positions in consumer electronics, broadcasting, entertainment and electronic services. He began his business career at the Ford Motor Company in finance. Jim received a BS degree from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
