“I really enjoyed the structured learning environment at Inside Counsel Magazine. As an Editorial Intern, fact checking and editing were some of my daily responsibilities. The best and most difficult element of my position was writing and publishing a daily web story. I’m so grateful for the pages that returned splattered in red edits. From AP abbreviations to simply making my sentences cleaner and tighter, Lauren and Cate patiently edited until it stuck. This internship has unquestionably made me a better writer.”
- Chelsea, Editorial Intern

“I could have not asked for a better experience as an intern this semester at Summit Business Media. As a marketing intern I learned how to work as a team, and learned valuable career lessons that I will be able to utilize in my future career. At Summit I was taught the importance of hard work and being detailed oriented. I improved on both my interpersonal skills and computer skills throughout my internship, both tools that I know will be valuable to my future. Everyone on my team was always willing to take time out from their busy schedules to answer my questions or help me on a project. I learned lessons that could have not been taught in a classroom and feel more prepared for the workforce because of Summit Business Media”.
- Sarah, Marketing Intern

“As an editorial intern with Claims magazine, I have not only been given opportunities to build on my understanding of journalism, but have been able to put that education to use in a real hands-on way. The Claims editorial staff have provided me with a wealth of information to help me learn, and then have provided me with chances to test my skills by writing articles, contributing to the editing process, and teaching me about what it really takes to produce a successful publication. The education I’ve received here at Claims has provided challenges and rewards unattainable in any classroom, and will continue to help me become a better journalist.”
- Marguerite, Editorial Intern
