Under the supervision of senior editors, our legal interns perform legal and non-legal research in the areas of insurance, tax, and financial services. Interns learn to cull the critical information from their research in order to provide focused information to professional readers. They are a vital link to the senior editorial staff and must be able to interact with professional writers and editors, understand the importance of deadlines, and desire an understand the intricacies of professional publishing.

Learning Objectives: To uncover and interpret changes in the tax rules and to communicate them to non tax professionals. To communicate editorial content changes required by tax law changes under the supervision of senior editors in a clear, concise and understandable manner.

Background:  Second or third year or recent law school graduate;  Interest in tax practice or tax subject matter; Interest in insurance; Basic courses or demonstrated knowledge of tax research is preferred; Courses in legal research and writing is highly desirable.
