Summit Business Media is hiring for a part-time Marketing Intern.  This position will provide a current college student the experience of working within an active B2B marketing department and prepare them for an entry level marketing position. Typically this internship is tailored to the strengths and interests of the student.

Internship Duties:

• Work independently to assist with assorted marketing and public relations activities
• Update and create marketing materials
• Research competitors and information valuable to the division
• Help create promotional marketing emails and landing pages
• Support social media efforts
• Assist with electronic media reporting
• Duties as assigned that are valuable to the marketing department at that specific time

Preferred qualifications:

• Marketing, PR or Communications major or interest in pursuing marketing or communications as a career
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 with a Junior or Senior standing
• Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• An upbeat, positive attitude with a willingness to help out in any area of the business
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Attention to detail a must
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficient with Excel and Word.  Experience with Adobe Creative Suites a plus
